surprisingly good

i bought the living social deal. i am not a vegetarian, i am obese and working hard to lose weight. this is part of that on going process.
it is expensive, i am long term unemployed, i could never imagine paying full price but...
first, i read all the reviews i could find before i bought it.
i decided to take the plunge and buy it.
second, i am just finishing the 2nd week using it. i have done the system without missing anything.
results:
it mixes very well, put these guys in charge of all powdered drink mix manufacturing!
it tastes good, the bottom is a bit gritty, expected, but not unpleasant.
it took nearly a week for the laxative effect to work. i'm on metformin for diabetes, between the two, i'm well intestine/colon lubricated. a little gas, but not serious.
the drink in the morning is filling. i don't eat again for 5-8 hours. excellent. i've mixed it with lots of things, my sun tea works well.
it is a surprisingly good product. i think it works as claimed, i'm on a carb restricted diet and continue to lose 3-5 lbs per week while doing this drink + 7 pills for breakfast. it makes it easier than it was without.

I've had a lot of other brands and the Raw Green brand is the best quality I've ever had. And it taste GREAT! So great that my kids love it too! They call it their Shrek juice!

Yes, I'm into being healthy, but not a vegan or vegetarian, but absolutely LOVE this product. Once I opened the protein, I could tell by the mild, sweet fragrance and smoothness of the powder that this product was high quality & once I tried it; it was confirmed.
Many times I've tried plant based protein powders only to be disappointed by it's gritty texture, and lack of enough protein for my liking, but this one was so smooth, and mildly flavored--just a delight to drink! I also love to add the greens to my shakes!
Additionally, the Aloe, Vegan Probiotics and Fiber are great combo to total health & compliment the shake & greens very well!!
One of my shake recipe:
8 oz Unsweetened Chocolate Almond Milk
1 banana
3 TBS of Protein Powder
1 TBS Greens
Ice (5-6)
Blend it up & drink & YUM!

Better Than Expected

I purchased the 30 Day Cleanse with a Living Social/Groupon(can't remember which) deal. It is a pretty easy cleanse to follow but I should have done a little more research. I didn't realize that the pills were laxatives! But I'm pretty new to the cleansing world so that was my fault. I take the 30 Day pill once a day and try to take the other two atleast once, and two usually helps to clean me out a little more. Any more than that and i would probably be in the bathroom constantly. So the pills will depend totally on your own body. I would start out with just one and work up.
The shakes are pretty tasty, but I tried one of the suggested recipes which was three scoops of the protein and one of the berry scoops. Yuck! I like to blend three scoops of the vanilla with almond milk (I've tried both Almond/Coconut and Sweetened vanilla), ice and banana. In the morning when I can't blend I just do three scoops with milk and ice cubes in a Blender Bottle and I can usually handle the taste. It is powdery and I find my ice melting a little throughout the morning actually helps the taste.
It is a great vegan breakfast option but the price is definitely a turn off. If I find another Groupon deal, I would probably buy it again but this was just my experience.

I am at the end of week two with this detox and I am so far very pleased with it! The cleansing process doesn't give you bad cramps and seems very calm to the system but still cleans you out! It has a great taste when mixed with the smoothy. I like to mix it with yogurt, banana, ice, a teaspoon of vanilla, and apple juice all blended in a smoothy. I received two super aloe's(instead of one super aloe and one super fiber) in my shipment and notified the company, they sent a super fiber immediately and was very quick to fix the problem. Thanks!
